What is Open Pay?

Open Pay is an alternative method of payment available through the Your Home Depot online store. Open Pay enables you to pay on your terms and create a flexible plan that gives you more time to pay for everything you need. You receive your order immediately and there is no interest!

It is a great way to get your items fast and to have the option of paying for it over a long period of time for when it better suits you. Essentially, you can purchase an item today and pay for it later.


How does Open Pay work?

Open Pay is fully integrated with the Your Home Depot checkout, so all you need to do is select Open Pay as your payment option when you’re ready to buy. You can complete a purchase with Open Pay in 3 easy steps!

Step 2: Select Open Pay as your payment option on the checkout page


Step 3. Register & design your plan

If you are 18 years or older an a permanent resident of Australia all you need is

  • Photo ID
  • Debit or credit card
  • Email address
  • The required deposit
  • Mobile phone

Payments are taken automatically as scheduled from your nominated credit or debit Visa or Mastercard. You can also make a payment early through the Openpay app.

Is Open Pay secure and safe?

Yes, protecting your information is very important to us. Open Pay is a Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant Provider. This means that all sensitive information is encrypted and we maintain stringent physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your information. View the Open Pay Privacy Policy here:

Are there any customer interest or customer fees associated with Open Pay?

Openpay does not charge any interest. If payments have not been made by their scheduled date, late fees will apply. Openpay sends out welcome emails on all purchases and payment reminder notices. Late fees are detailed in advance in this email correspondence. We understand that there are times when making a payment is just all too hard. Please contact Open Pay before the payment due date to reschedule and avoid late fees.

Does Openpay perform a credit check?

Depending on the purchase you are making, you may be asked to consent to a credit check. In those instances, your consent will be clearly requested before a purchase is made.

Please Note: Your Home Depot only accepts Open Pay transaction when amount is over $25
