The following Returns & Refunds information applies to Your Home Depot’s range of furniture from the ‘Life Interiors’ brand, which can be browsed by clicking here.  Due to the size and weight of most items in the furniture category our Returns & Refunds conditions are different to our standard items. 14 Day Money Back Guarantee

When your order arrives you may decide that it is too big, too small, the wrong colour or maybe you’ve just changed your mind - Your Home Depot offers a 14 day money back guarantee on your ‘Life Interiors’ Furniture product (excluding rugs, mirrors and all lighting).

Simply contact our customer service at sales@yourhomedepot.com.au or phone on 1300 795 985 and we'll help you to arrange the return.

** Please note that this guarantee is strictly subject to the following conditions:

All Furniture returns must be unopened and in 'as new' condition including packaging.  If this is not the case then a restocking fee of up to 25% will be subtracted from the refund total to cover repackaging costs. 

The returned product(s) will be inspected upon arrival and Your Home Depot reserves the right to refuse a refund/exchange if a product is deemed to not be in 'as new' condition. It is also the responsibility of the customer to suitably package the product(s) for safe return so as to avoid damage to the product. If a product and/or its packaging is damaged during return delivery, YHD reserves the right to refuse a refund/exchange if a product is deemed to not be in 'as new' condition as a result of damage during the delivery of the return.

Please note that Your Home Depot is not responsible for the cost of shipping a return product to our warehouse, or for associated handling and insurance costs to and from your location to our location. All returned products must be in possession within 14 days from Invoice date to be eligible for a full refund. To ensure the safe return of the product(s), Your Home Depot can assist by advising the best available carrier to use.

Replacement, Credit or Refund?

Your Home Depot will always endeavour to satisfy your return with a replacement product or store credit. In the event a replacement product cannot be provided, Your Home Depot will offer a store credit or refund for the full order amount, less return delivery fees if applicable.

Faulty and Damaged Returns

It is the responsibility of the Customer to check the product within 24 hours of receipt as Your Home Depot cannot be liable for damage incurred during transit after this period.  Where a product is faulty, damaged or broken on receipt and before usage, or an item is returned in ‘as new’ conditions a Change of Mind, you may request a full cash refund, less return delivery fees if applicable.  Any damaged, faulty or refunded claims after 14 days of delivery will not be treated as a refund and will be treated as a warranty claim.  In this instance the full return costs will be liable from the Customer.  The returned items, as well as their accessories  (if applicable), must be in their original packaging and condition, must not be used or altered in any way as well as being unmarked and unassembled.

If you receive an order which you see or believe there is likelihood of fault, breakage or damage; please contact Your Home Depot as soon as possible with your order number, and if possible photos of the damage. In this event:

  • If within 24 hours from order receipt and prior to usage, Your Home Depot will pay for return delivery and send you a replacement product at our cost.
  • If after 14 days from order receipt and prior to usage, the claim will be treated as a warranty claim and the Customer will be liable for the return delivery fee, and Your Home Depot will send you a replacement product at our cost.
  • If the product is faulty, broken or damaged after usage and within the manufacturer’s warranty period, please contact Your Home Depot and we will assist with claiming your manufacturer’s warranty and dispatch the new item. If the product is faulty, broken or damaged after usage and outside the manufacturer’s warranty period, please feel free to contact Your Home Depot, however it is unlikely we’ll be able to help you with claiming your manufacturer’s warranty.

Returns Processing Time

We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. You will receive your exchange, credit or refund after we receive and process your return in accordance with our policies. This process may take up to 7 business days.

Cancelling an order

If you would like to cancel your order prior to dispatch, please contact us as soon as possible by sending an email to sales@yourhomedepot.com.au or call us directly on 1300 795 985. In the event your order has already been logged in our system for dispatch, you may be charged the delivery cost incurred by Your Home Depot. 

Exclusions

Your Home Depot does not offer free delivery on any items listed under the Furniture category, and is not available for in store view or pick-up.
